I am just beginning to research this topic and find that there are many more options than I originally thought. So far one of my favorite products is the Envi wall mounted heater. It only weights 10lbs. And is run on the standard 120v.

I am continuing to read up on this unit and encourage you to… Knowledge is power right! Here is a link to their site http://www.eheat.com

If you prefer a wood burning stove I found a great option and the reviews are extremely positive! You can read more here:

Whatever you prefer that there are many more questions you need to answer first before settling on the best option for you.

– You will need to calculate the btus you will need your heater to provide.

– Find the clearances you will need for you heater in your tiny home.

– Even consider what it will look like in your tiny home.

These are just a few things to think over. I know I am and will provide feedback with our experiences along the way!

I’ve spent more than 20 years working in almost every facet of the building world, including concrete, foundations, log homes, custom homes, and metal roofing. Over the years, that hands-on experience grew into broader roles involving commercial hotel projects, permitting, residential project management, and modular construction. Having seen the process from so many angles, I write to share practical, real-world insight and help people understand what it actually takes to make their tiny home dreams come true.
